Eric Koby

Eric Koby has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years. As CEO of heidi klein since 2013, Eric has steered this leading luxury lifestyle brand with a successful global strategy of growth and development.

After finishing his Master’s Degree in Business in Paris, Eric moved to the UK to begin a 14-year position at Vivienne Westwood, which provided him with a solid fashion background. As Finance Director, Eric left the company in 2010 after having transformed the business both in terms of financial growth and profitability.

Eric then joined the senior team at Alice Temperley as CFO. Here, he spent just under three years focusing on restructuring the business and rebuilding the management team. In 2013, heidi klein co-founders, Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein, and the Pentland Group (main shareholder) felt that Eric’s experience and business acumen would be the perfect fit for their growing holiday wear brand. They offered Eric the opportunity to lead the business on its new journey.

Eric immediately saw the potential of the brand and joined heidi klein in July 2013. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength based on a stronger offering and supply chain and the repositioning as a luxury lifestyle brand. The business is seeing growth in all channels and is now focusing on international expansion.
