Shamilka Samarasinha

Shamilka Samarasingha has a comprehensive background in corporate social responsibility consulting service within private and public sectors. She is currently the Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at EPAM USA. She was a driving force in shortlisting the company in Global Sourcing Awards 2017 for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as in CEE Shared Services Awards 2017 on the Top CSR initiative of the Year. She has also played a vital role in developing various CSR programs throughout 16 countries with different languages. She has coordinated with various organizations across the world, such as Scratch Foundation, Business Call to Action, Sims Recycling Solutions, Girls Who Code, Apps for Good, and United Nations Global Compact in organizing numerous CRS activities for social innovation. She was also Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Brandix Lanka Ltd. She was Project and Public Diplomacy Officer at the British Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar. She was also a Consultant at Save The Children–Paung Ku Project in Paung Ku, Yangon, Myanmar. She has been a Panel Speaker in notable panels including Social Good Summit, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Women’s International Day in Imaguru, Minsk, Belarus.
