Sharika Senanayake

As Director of Sustainability for MAS Sharika leads the Central Sustainability team and champions the practice of Sustainable Manufacturing as a core function at MAS through the implementation of the group’s integrated sustainability strategy which aims to drive sustainability into the heart of the business in the key areas of renewable energy, chemicals, waste and biodiversity.

Her role involves the implementation of the MAS Group’s strategy through specific action plans, projects and initiatives, setting-up teams to manage water, energy, emissions, chemicals and materials projects and supporting the divisions to achieve their targets. Her work also involves building a culture of sustainability within the organisation that has a ripple effect wherever MAS operates.
